Retail Assistant - Fixed term - Tauranga

We are looking for a fixed term, part time Retail Assistant to be part of our team. The fixed term would be until the end of May 2025.

This role works 16 hours per week. Monday 9.30-4.00, Thursday and Saturday 10.00-3.00 for a 3-month period ending at the end of May 2025.

This role also covers for other team members when they are on leave. You will also be on-call to cover on public holidays when team members may be away, as well as covering at any of our stores in the Bay of Plenty. In order to cover at our other Bay of Plenty stores, reliable transport and drivers’ licence is required.

In retail, we appreciate flexibility, so being available to work weekends and public holidays is important.

Working in retail is rewarding, but it is hard work. You need to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time and lift, pack and unpack boxes of stock. We are a small team, so we all learn and are responsible for doing everything in store.
