FIXED TERM Retail Assistant – Bay of Plenty Stores for summer holiday season - Tauranga

Do you enjoy working across multiple stores? Do you like to do something a bit different each day and week? We have the perfect role for you.

We have a fixed term role that works across all of our Bay of Plenty stores including Tauranga City, Bethlehem, Papamoa and Te Puke. You will need a reliable vehicle and a clean driver’s licence. Your base store will be Tauranga City, but you will move around our other stores as needed.

This role is a guaranteed 20 hours per week, and then additional hours by agreement. The days and hours of work would vary each week, depending on which store you were working in. You would need to be able to work weekends and public holidays.

The fixed term would start as soon as you are able, and end at the end of February 2025.

In retail, we appreciate flexibility, so being available to work weekends and public holidays is important.

Working in retail is rewarding, but it is hard work. You need to be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time and lift, pack and unpack boxes of stock. We are a small team, so we all learn and are responsible for doing everything in store.
