This is a full-time, permanent role which is office-based and involves regular international and national travel.

We are on the lookout for an assistant buyer to work alongside our senior buyer and managing director. As assistant buyer you will be involved with buying the right products to meet customer demands while minimising inventory risk. You will play a pivotal role in purchasing the right styles in the right quantity while aligning to Caroline Eve’s approach to buying and product.

Alongside this, there are the everyday tasks that need to be done, such as:

• Assigning buying codes to styles
• Identifying products to order in future seasons
• Maintain pulse on inventory and sales results to maximise sales and minimise inventory risk

To be successful in this role you will need:

• To have extensive retail experience, or been in an assistant buyers role.
• Knowledge of fabrication, garment construction, and product development.
• The ability to effortlessly forge and maintain relationships across all levels of our organisation and with buying partners.
• Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
• A full driver’s licence
• To be able to travel internationally and nationally on a regular basis – so a current, valid passport.
• A team player – we are a small team so it’s all hands-on deck.
